Ritah receives a wheelchair

We had the privilege of making a significant difference in the life of Ritah, a 13-year-old girl from Busanzi Village. Ritah was born with a physical disability that has left her unable to walk, making it impossible for her to attend school. Living with her mother, Ritah's condition had become a major obstacle to her education and social participation. Despite her determination and the support of her mother, the lack of mobility severely limited her opportunities.

Recognizing the urgent need to empower Ritah and help her gain access to education, NJO Foundation Africa stepped in to provide her with a wheelchair. This wheelchair is not just a mode of transport; it represents hope, independence, and a chance for Ritah to pursue her dreams.

The moment Ritah received her wheelchair was filled with emotion and joy. For the first time, she has the means to move around her village independently and, most importantly, the possibility of attending school. This life-changing support will enable Ritah to engage with her peers, access education, and participate fully in her community.

Ritah’s story is a powerful reminder of the impact that even a single act of kindness can have on a young life. We are deeply grateful to our donors and supporters who made this possible. Their generosity has not only given Ritah the gift of mobility but also opened doors to a brighter future.
