Sanitary pads event in Namanyingo

We believe that every girl deserves the opportunity to pursue her education and dreams without being hindered by the lack of basic necessities. On 3rd August 2024, we were honored to provide sanitary pads to 108 girls in Namayingo, a significant step towards helping them maintain their health, dignity, and confidence.

Access to sanitary pads is a critical need for many girls in rural areas, where limited resources often force them to miss school during their menstrual cycles. This lack of access not only affects their education but also their self-esteem and overall well-being.

During this event, we distributed sanitary pads to 108 girls, ensuring they have the means to manage their menstrual cycles with dignity. The joy and relief on their faces were a testament to the impact of this simple yet vital support. Beyond just distributing the pads, we also provided education on menstrual health and hygiene, empowering these girls with knowledge that will serve them throughout their lives.
